Magpie campground is nestled between rugged badlands and the nearby Magpie creek. Visitors will experience an abundance of privacy and shade while enjoying this remote campground. Campground amenities include one vault toilet, a hand pump with potable water, 6 camping pads, picnic tables, and fire rings. Adjacent to the campground is a large trailhead which offers large parking area and easy access to the Maah Daah Hey Trail. This is an excellent base camp for visitors looking to explore the Ice Caves Trail or Devils Pass. This campground operates under a Pack-it-In-Pack-it-Out policy.
