Cars With a Cause
Cars With a Cause is an annual charity car show benefiting Service Dogs for America. Our first year in 2016 was a great success and we hope to grow each and every year. Thanks to the generous sponsors, participants and spectators we were able to donate several thousand dollars to Service Dogs for America. Each dollar will promote freedom (on a leash) for client's approved to receive a service dog from their organization.
Cars With a Cause is open to all vehicle types and ages with a registration fee of $10 per entry. The show will be open to anything with an engine. As long as we don't have to push it into place it is welcome at the show. Fun family event, entrance to the event is free for spectators, but there will be a donation booth for Service Dogs for America if you would like to donate. Cars With a Cause donates 100% of all registration to charity.
Service Dogs for America (SDA) Founded in 1989 Service Dogs for America (SDA)/Great Plains Assistance Dogs Foundation Inc. is a Jud, North Dakota based non-profit organization that enhances and empowers the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships. SDA continues the rich tradition of encouraging and empowering those with special needs through custom trained service dogs. SDA's goal and mission is to facilitate specialized training, education, and ensure the placement of service dogs to individuals with special needs, without causing financial burdens. The average cost to raise and train each service dog can be between $7,000- $30,000, depending on the specialized training, per dog. Each day these dogs significantly impact their partners' lives. People who couldn't do the ordinary activities of daily living that others take for granted are able to function independently with the help of their canine partners.
