This event is a 120-mile bicycle race on the gravel roads in the North Dakota Badlands (but three different distance options). The race will be held annually on Memorial Day weekend. Participants will start near Medora, in the beautiful Theodore Roosevelt National Park with a 10-mile neutral roll out. The race route will go up the rugged Badlands along the east side of the twisty Little Missouri River. Then racers will cross the river and head back down the rugged scoria roads all the way back to Medora. This course will challenge even the best riders. Anyone finishing the race will be among the many others who arrived in North Dakota as a guest, but left as a legend.
