911 Memorial Site
On September 11, 2001, the world watched in horror as the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City crumbled to the ground, claiming more than 2,800 innocent lives. Ten twisted girders rescued from that devastation now rest in the International Peace Garden, a symbol of peace and democracy.
