Dip into history with candle-making class

Experience the warm glow of history during a hands-on dip candle- making class at the Former Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site, Bismarck, on Saturday, Dec. 20, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Carriage House classroom. Learn the traditional method of candle making used in the 19th century and take home your own handmade candles. The class is suitable for ages 12 and up; children must be accompanied by an adult.
All materials will be provided, and staff will guide attendees through each step of the process. Tickets are $10 and must be purchased in advance on Eventbrite at DipCandle.eventbrite.com. Register early; the event is limited to 20 participants.
This family-friendly program is part of the ND250 commemoration celebrating our country’s 250th birthday.
