Enjoy free interactive learning programs at Camp Hancock State Historic Site in Bismarck. All ages are welcome. Day cares and summer camps are encouraged to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Cookies and lemonade will be served as well.

July 4 Ice Cream and Toy Poppers, 1-3 p.m. Cool off this 4th of July with an ice cream cone and lemonade. The historic site will be open for touring during the social. Children can make a popper to celebrate Independence Day.

July 12 Stained Glass, 1-3 p.m. The original stained glass windows at the Bread of Life Church at Camp Hancock were restored and reinstalled in 2022. View them and make your own stained glass replicas.

July 19 Wind Vanes, 1-3 p.m. Which way does the wind blow? The wind vane will tell you. Discover the wind vanes on exhibit in the weather station, then build one to take home.

Camp Hancock State Historic Site, 101 E. Main Ave. in Bismarck, is managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota.
