Fall Activities

Communities celebrate the end of another harvest season in North Dakota

In North Dakota you don't need a calendar to know that the seasons are changing and fall is upon us. The days become cooler and shorter and the leaves are changing colors and falling off the trees.

For decades communities held festivals to celebrate the end of the harvest, a tradition that carries on to this day in towns across North Dakota. Maybe it's a celebration on main street, or a pumpkin patch or arts and craft show. There are Oktoberfests, pumpkinfests and arts and crafts fairs and so much more to choose from. Get out and enjoy the changing colors, the festivals and fall activities.
