49th Annual Summer Festival and Turkey Barbecue (June 20-21)

The weekend begins with a pancake breakfast served by the Sundahl Women of the ELCA at Sundahl Lutheran Chuch. The Arts and crafts show and sale opens at noon with a minimum of 35-40 vendors at the Aneta Pavilion and in Aneta Park.

A musical premier about longtime composer and music instructor Neil Olson of Aneta will be performed at the Aneta Auditorium at 1 pm.

The turkey barbecue begins serving at 4:30 in Aneta City Park. The roast of 280 birds will begin at about 10 a.m. There is also music performed during the barbecue.

Two dances will follow at the Whitetail Bar and the Aneta American Legion.

All Faiths Service will be held in the park Sunday at 10 a.m.
