Between 1843 and 1873, this house and store, owned by Antoine B. Gingras, served the Metis community of St. Joseph (present-day Walhalla). Buildings are the oldest standing structures built by Euro-Americans in North Dakota. Interpretive panels and artifacts on site. Guided tours offered daily.
