Rural History Holiday
Be a modern day explorer. Discover the remnants of a town that began as a bustling prairie tent village and was bought out by FEMA. Activities include a historical tour of Churchs Ferry, Churchs Ferry School museum, remaining buildings, city layout, homesteads, gardens at the farm with anecdotal stories of original settlers, and a tour of the surrounding area - Grand Harbor, the old churchyard and more. Great for photographers and writers. You'll always find a story here.

Tour Availability: Mid July thru Mid September, Sunday through Saturday
Length of Tour: 1-3 days, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. with optional evening activities.
Estimated Price: $120 per day
Price Includes: Personalized guide and customed activities based on interest, meals, beverages and transportation.
Other Info: Additional excursions/activities could include: wildlife/bird watching, nearby historic sites, bison ranch, summer theater, fishing, and heritage center. Lodging can be arranged in either a hotel, motorhome, or fully furnished house.

Other Info: Come enjoy the peace and quiet of rural living. We can accommodate an RV or tent in our farm yard. The closest town with motels are Langon, ND or Morden, MB. Both are 22 miles from our farm. Other activities are also available, such as: learning how to harvest, prepare and preserve foods, learning needle work, spinning wool and more.
