Downstream Campground and Recreation Area

Large Campground on the Missouri River below Garrison Dam of Lake Sakakawea. Campground has four loops. Loop 1 sites are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Loops 2 and 3 are filled by reservation only. Reservations can be made on line at www.recreation.gov or by calling toll free number 1-877-444-6777. Camping in Loop 4 is first come, first serve. 117 tent/RV sites, 101 with electric,new showers, swimming area near by, sewer, restrooms, picnic shelters, grills, drinking water, playgrounds, hiking trail.
