The Taube Museum of Art is housed in the historic 1906 Union National Bank in downtown Minot. Many original features.Focus: Membership driven non-profit organization which exhibits contemporary artwork of regional, national and international artists changing every 4-6 weeks. There is a main gallery and a lower gallery space, so typically there are two exhibits that run simultaneously. Special Events: Artfest, North Dakota Juried Student Art Show, Holiday Tour of Homes and Festival of the Season Art Sale. Education: A Start In Art, Goodnight, Art!, Gallery on Wheels, Summer "Art"Ventures, Art Camp, Art All Around, Birthday Parties and for adults we offer our Paint the Town Red Art Classes once a month. Gift Shop: Open during normal Museum hours with original art by North Dakota artists, jewelry, books, and children's art supplies.Tours: Free and open to the public. Small fee with art activity. Call to schedule. Handicapped accessible.
