The Taube Museum of Art is housed in the historic 1906 Union National Bank in downtown Minot. Many original features. Focus: Membership driven non-profit organization which exhibits contemporary artwork of regional, national and international artists changing every 4-6 weeks. There is a main gallery and a lower gallery space, so typically there are two exhibits that run simultaneously. Special Events: Artfest, North Dakota Juried Student Art Show, Holiday Tour of Homes and Festival of the Season Art Sale. Education: A Start In Art, Goodnight, Art!, Gallery on Wheels, Summer "Art" Ventures, Art Camp, Art All Around, Birthday Parties and for adults we offer our Paint the Town Red Art Classes once a month. Gift Shop: Open during normal Museum hours with original art by North Dakota artists, jewelry, books, and children's art supplies. Tours: Free and open to the public. Small fee with art activity. Call to schedule. Handicapped accessible.
