  • The Capital Area Transit System, better known as the "CAT" is the public transit system that serves the cities of Bismarck and Mandan.

  • Days available: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.  No service available Thursday or Saturday.  Stops along the way include the towns of: Max, Garrison, Coleharbor, Underwood, Washburn and Wilton.

Jefferson Lines:
  • Jefferson Lines and Jefferson Tours of Minneapolis operates a fleet of modern coaches in passenger and express scheduled service, as well as charter and tour services. Jefferson routes extend from Minneapolis to Dallas, serving 11 states in the heartland of America and the province of Manitoba, Canada.
  • Jefferson Lines is expanding its Fargo route to Williston, N.D. It will provides daily motorcoach bus service from Fargo to Grand Forks, Lakota, Devils Lake, Rugby, Towner, Minot, Stanley and Williston. It also provides connections to Bismarck through a cooperative effort with New Town Bus Service in Minot. Service includes stops at North Dakota State University in Fargo and the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.
