This dig is co-sponsored by the North Dakota Geological Survey and the Marmarth Research Foundation. Explore and excavate dinosaur and fossils of other animals from the Cretaceous (about 65 million years old) Hell Creek Formation in the rugged badlands near Marmarth. Learn to prepare fossils in the Marmarth Research Foundation paleontology laboratory in Marmarth. When: July 26 through August 2, 2014. Where: Near Marmarth, Slope County, North Dakota. Cost: Adults for one week $1,000; students for one week $900. Lodging in the rustic Marmarth bunkhouse, meals and transportation to the fossil sites from Marmarth included.
