NDGS Public Fossil Dig: Bismarck Area

Exploration and collection of Cretaceous (about 65 million years ago) dinosaur and Eocene/Oligocene (about 35 to 30 million years ago) mammal fossils are the objectives of this public fossil dig. When: July 22 through July 24, 2014. Where: Bismarck and Dickinson areas. Daily trips to the fossil sites will originate from Bismarck. Cost: No cost. Participants must be at least 12 years old. Lodging, meals and transportation to the fossil sites are the responsibility of the participants.
