The Elgin Community welcomes everyone to a hometown annual celebration geared towards family fun for all ages. We have activities going on throughout the weekend, including musical entertainment, arts and crafts, home-cooked type meals, golfing, sporting competition, parades, children games, two-day rodeo, historical museum, all-faith church services and many more activities. We have motel accommodations and RV hook-ups available. For those who like camping near lakes, Lake Tschida is just a short 15 miles north of Elgin and Sheep Creek Dam is 4 miles south of Elgin.

You will find the entertainment in Elgin fun and its residents friendly and welcoming. We offer good food and shopping opportunities. While you're here, make a historical trip to Medicine Rock or take a walk in the country to enjoy our beautiful rolling hills and nature's beauty at its best. Perhaps you'll spot a glimpse of wildlife common to Grant County: fox, coyotes, deer, pheasants, water fowl, wild turkeys, beavers and much more.

Life in rural North Dakota is at a slower pace. Our residents work hard but we take time to enjoy life. Come spend a few hours or even a few days with us. Maybe the small town atmosphere will get into you and you'll find yourself making no less than an annual June trip to Elgin.
