Die Fledermaus - Fargo-Moorhead Opera
Waltzes as intoxicating as champagne abound at Prince Orlofsky's masked ball where elaborate plots are uncorked and romantic entanglements go astray. At the center of it all is suave and charming Dr. von Eisenstein, blisfully unaware that the saucy and mysterious Hungarian countess he is wooing is actually his wife, Rosalinde. By daybreak the party guests find themselves at the city jail, where the Eisenstein's rekindle their mutual passion and everyone is free to leave, following a final chorus of course - in honor of champagne.
