Mark your calendars. Come and experience North Dakota's big, beautiful starry sky during "Dakota Nights: An Astronomy Festival scheduled for September 19-21, 2014 in the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The three-day festival will celebrate North Dakota's starry nights and rich heritage.
When you stand under the endless night sky, you will feel the wonder and inspiration that influenced the cultures of American Indian tribes and modern space exploration.
Theodore Roosevelt National Park and Historic Medora welcome you to star viewing on Friday and Saturday evening, presentations by nationally recognized speakers, rocket building and launching, solar system hikes, and much more as we celebrate Dakota Nights!
