Buckstop Junction's annual harvest celebration
Music includes the Hungry Five Ompah Band, Ragtime Piano and other local talent. For the kid's we have face painting, balloons, old fashioned games and a treasure dig. Special displays will include the Pioneer Auto Club, antique tractors, woodworking and Hardangar. North Dakota collectables and other special items are available at Buckstop Junction's gift shop, The Vintage Shoppe.
18+ historic buildings will be open and interpretive staff will be on duty in each of these furnished building.
We begin the day with an all faith service at the Bethel Church, flag raising and a parade. Food service begins at 11 a.m.
Demonstrations, new displays and more. DC&W model railroad complex, blacksmith, vintage cars and tractors, woodcarvers, farm museum, farm machinery and haying with horses.
Food ... Food ... Food! Sweet corn on the cob, fry bread, burgers, brats, hot dogs, pickles, cheese buttons, kuchen, watermelon, ice cream cones, sarsaparilla, coffee and muffins, rhubarb slushes, pop, ice cold water, fresh-popped popcorn and more! Schedule: Gate opens at 9 a.m. Tour historic buildings 11 a.m.-4 p.m. All-faith church service 9:30 a.m. Flag raising 10:45 followed by vintage tractor and auto parade. Food service begins at 11 a.m. Silent auction at The Vintage Shoppe to benefit the Brittin Grain Elevator moving fund 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Entertainment begins at high noon.
