Rolling Plains Adventures is located on the Black Leg Ranch within the plains of historic McKenzie, ND. The land has been family owned and operated since 1882 during the Homestead Act. There are still wagon trails and old building foundations from the early settlers to explore within the ranch. Going on the fifth generation, come learn about local history while exploring one of the oldest working ranches in the state still in operation today.
We currently offer three lodges located within walking distance for your enjoyment and leisure. The fourth lodge is lakeside for the swimming enthusiasts!
The dining experience at Rolling Plains Adventures is second to none. Enjoy home-cooked meals where asking for seconds is expected. Make sure to leave room after your delicious meal for dessert, which will top off your day at the ranch!
