Mike Evin Concert

Canadian piano-pop songwriter Mike Evin will make a stop at the Jamestown Arts Center, where he will perform pieces from his recently released album, Life as a Lover. Bismarck State College Symposium - The 60’s: Tumult and Transformation

For three days in early November, attendees of Bismarck State College’s fourth major symposium will hear about retrospectives on the space race, the Vietnam War, the Nixon presidency, the women’s movement, the American Indian movement and North Dakota in the 1960’s. Every November, on the opening day of deer season, the city of Medora hosts a Hunter’s Feed at the Medora Community Center. Every year, starting Thanksgiving weekend, the small town of Garrison transforms into the “Christmas Capitol of North Dakota” for two weeks. Guests can walk the streets of downtown and eat delicacies like hot baked potatoes and sausage on a stick, or take a ride on an authentic double-decker “Queen Elizabus” English bus.
