CVB Offers Opportunity to Share Greater Grand Forks Experiences
Grand Forks, ND (April 17, 2008) - The Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is pleased to launch a new program which will allow visitors and local residents to share their Greater Grand Forks experiences through video. The CVB has made easy-to-use Flip Video recorders available to guests wishing to check them out and record their experiences to be uploaded to the CVB's website at www.visitgrandforks.com.
Participants' names will be entered into a drawing done quarterly for gift certificate prizes from local merchants. There is no charge to use the pocket-size recording device, and it can hold up to 60 minutes of footage. The requirements to participate include:
All recorded footage should be family-friendly.
Video may be edited and/or shortened for content by CVB staff.
To check out a recorder, a waiver must be signed and credit card information left.
Any damage or theft of the Flip Video will be charged to the borrower's credit card.
