I grew up in North Dakota, and I have a passion for the outdoors and a longing for adventure. I was able to find what I was looking for here in the Badlands. I’ve ridden trails all over the country and some of the best riding that I’ve ever found is right in my backyard.
The Maah Daah Hey is more than 100 miles of trail through the Missouri National Grasslands. The rugged terrain is open to hikers and bikers, whether it’s for a short trek or the whole trail.
I decided to host the Maah Daah Hey 100 to show other riders one of North Dakota’s great hidden gems. The trail is one of the most majestic singletrack trails in the world, and pushes riders to the best of their abilities. It’s definitely an experience to remember for the rest of your life! It really is something heavenly and it would practically be a sin not to race on this world-class trail at least once before you die.
The Badlands has so much to offer adventure-seekers, even beyond the Maah Daah Hey. Whether you bike, hike, ride or run, I guarantee you’re going to find legendary experience in the North Dakota Badlands.
