ND Tourism note: Florida Georgia Line is performing at the Bismarck Event Center, May 20, and the Ralph Engelstad Arena, Grand Forks, on May 21. They provided this blog post with some of their favorite "tourist" things to do in Bismarck and Grand Forks.
1. The Dakota Zoo in Bismarck
The Dakota Zoo is fantastic! We are such nature lovers. BK and his wife live in a
treehouse and Hayley and I recently went on an African Safari, so anytime we can enjoy
wildlife we jump at the opportunity. It’s a great way to recharge the batteries before a
2. River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks
I love to get on my bike and race, so it works out perfectly that there is a raceway in
Grand Forks. Touring takes a lot out of you, so being able to go ride my bike is a great
way to get amped up for a show.
3. North Dakota Heritage Center in Bismarck
Whenever we travel, it is awesome to get to learn more about each place we visit. The
ND Heritage Center gives us a great look into the history of the area and it has some
cool interactive exhibits.
4. North Dakota Museum of Art in Grand Forks
This is a really cool museum to visit if you’re ever in Grand Forks. It is filled with wonderful contemporary art pieces. It’s also got a quaint cafe and a great gift shop if you’re looking for something special to take home.
5. Japanese Garden in Grand Forks
When we are on tour we are constantly on the go. But, we found the Japanese Gardens
is a great place for us to just relax for a few minutes and enjoy God’s masterpiece. The
water features and rock formations are very zen. It is definitely worth checking out if
you’re in town.
