Learn More About Digital Marketing

Tourism business and event marketers in the Bismarck-Mandan area are invited to a free digital workshop from 10-11:30 a.m., October 28 in the WSI Boardroom at Tourism’s office in the Century Center. Topics to be covered include measuring digital advertising, advertising on NDtourism.com, optimizing listings on NDtourism.com and tips and tactics for social media. Meetings will also be held in Minot on November 3, Grand Forks on November 12 and Fargo on November 13. RSVP is appreciated by contacting Tricia Miller at tamiller@nd.gov or 701-328-5328.

North Dakota Tourism has introduced its cooperative advertising program for 2015. The program is online at http://www.ndtourism.com/information/advertising-north-dakota-tourism, along with the reservation form. Hurry, as some options are full or nearly full. Opportunities still remaining include:

  • Fall Canadian newspaper insert

  • Wave Direct email programs for Canadian and golf segments

  •  I-94 East reduced to one lane for bridge repair work from Tappen to east of Medina. Delays of 15 minutes or less.

  •  I-94 West, east of Casselton to near West Fargo, road reduced to one lane. Expect delays.

  • US 2 East Williston Intersection US2 & 18th Street one lane each direction. Expect delays.

  •  US 83 North Washburn to junction 200, lane closures and width restrictions in place. Expect delays.
