You have until March 31 to register for the North Dakota Travel Industry Conference at early-bird rates, with $10 discounts on multiple registrations from the same business or organization. Please note, when you submit the registration information for the first attendee, you will receive a discount code which should be used to enter the additional attendees. This enters the $10 discount.
Nominations are being accepted until March 14 for the Governor’s Awards for Travel and Tourism, which will be announced at the North Dakota Travel Industry Conference in Fargo. Make your nomination online.

The U.S. Travel Association has prepared an online toolkit with logos, graphics, sample press releases, talking points and facts which can be used online and in public relations to help spread the word that travel has great impact!
The James Beard Foundation Award of Excellence is perhaps the most prestigious award in the restaurant industry. Chefs Ryan Nitschke and Nick Weinhandl of the Hotel Donaldson Restaurant in Fargo were nominated for the 2014 Best Chefs Midwest and each has reached the semifinalist stage. The winners will be determined March 19.

Daily two-way rail service on Amtrak's Empire Builder will resume this week after two months of interrupted service. The move will benefit Devils Lake, Rugby and Grand Forks. Click here for more information.
Williston MainStay Suites manager Joseph Dora and his staff received the Choice Hotels' Gold Award given to hotels that maintain the highest level of guest satisfaction. The hotel is the second-highest ranking property within the system.
