North Dakota Tourism International Marketing Manager Fred Walker joined Real America partners in November on the state's first Italian mission. Tourism representatives from North Dakota, Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming attended mini-trade shows with Italian travel trade and media in Milan and Rome. Travel trade members came from across Italy to meet with the U.S. representatives. In Milan, the group hosted an event at the U.S. ambassador’s residence for interested travel trade, including airlines and car rental groups. Following the Italian mission, the group went to Norway and Sweden for a few days of training for travel trade shows in Oslo and Stockholm.
By 2020, the youth travel market is expected to grow to $320 billion per annum with almost 300 million international youth trips per year. Tap into that never-ending market segment. Click here for more information.
